Lockers in Major Cities - Where?

Seems since 9/11 one can't find lockers anymore (not that they were all that available before)!

Where, in various cities, can one stow their luggage for a few hours while they tour around? Does anyone know of a website?

Before 9/11, you'd find them at train stations, some airports, museums (small!), but it seems harder to find them ... they're all been disabled to prevent use. Thanks (no x in my eddress if anyone replies directly)

you are correct, lockers at bwi are all "out of order". So where are lockers to be found?

Doesn't directly answer your question, but Grand Central Station in New York has a Parcel Room that is open to 11PM. They don't accept anything that is not closed, like shopping bags, so I make it a point to bring with me one of those zippered nylon travel bags.

After a day in the City, it sure is nice to check the bag and go out to dinner without schlepping around the day's purchases. But you do sometimes feel like Cinderella because you HAVE to pick it up before 11.

KenCT - it *does* directly answer my question, as far as NYC goes. Now if some others will share their knowledge of places in their cities to check a bag for a few hours, other than begging a bellman at a hotel. Thanks.

My recollection is that the bus depot (Greyhound, I believe,) next to the airport in Key West also has storage lockers. Don't know the status since 9/11, but it'd be worth checking on if you're in that area with that problem.
