Local seafood in/near Richmond VA

Hi all, logging in from Richmond, Va., and TS Hanna. We were supposed to be at the NASCAR race today, but it was postponed until tomorrow. The storm is roaring through quickly and we are looking for a good local fresh seafood place for Chesapeake Bay crabs etc. this evening. We don't mind driving to Hampton Roads area if necessary. Any recommendations?

Thansks for the suggestions. I checked the websites and those are WAY too fancy for us this weekend. Know of any "crab shacks" or similar? Thanks.

We ate at MammaZu's (Spelling) the last time we were in Richmond. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was good. We've seen mixed reviews (indifferent waitstaff) but we didn't experience that. They have another restaurant called Edo's Squid. We'll be traveling thru there in April and hope to try it.

Edo's Squid is one of our regular places..unlike Mamma Zu's, they take reservations and Visa and Mastercard (MZ only takes AmExp, cash and local checks).
