Lobsters to Go!

PSCSB, when we were just in the area north of Boston, we bought lobsters at a major supermarket for a very reasonable price. Great price/great lobsters. We had previously made a special trip to a seafood market to get them, but the lobsters were just as nice from the supermarket. Maybe you could check out the supermarkets in Warwick/Providence area?

James Hook Co. (jameshooklobster.com) is the place to get Lobsters packed to travel in Boston. When you walk into the back of a warehouse full of Lobster tanks with low prices scrawled on an old blackboard, you know you've cut out the middle man. They packed my Lobsters in a carry on box that rode back to Washington in the overhead bin. None fresher and much cheaper than the airport shop or Legal. Order online too.

Northern Lobster & Seafood
2275 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889
(401) 272-6378. Excellent, fresh lobsters, little necks, etc. They will also ship them anywhere in the country for you. I order them shipped to the West Coast several times a year (for the past 6-7 years.) They are very well-packed and still alive when we get them. Enjoy!

Thanks for the responses. I have called the place in Warwick and it is workable as long as we have time to get there before the flight. Last lobster buy did not go so well. " Unnamed overnight carrier" got it there in three days!
