Live Blues in Austin
 

We will be in Austin in the first days of January.

Can someone recommend us some good clubs with live blues music there?

I have heard good things about Antone's, but we would like to know some more options. (We will stay in a downtown hotel.)

The main music location is on Congress street, I believe. It's just door after door of music venues - depends on whose in town and playing!

We loved the Continental Club on South Congress. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, heard a great band and had fun watching the terrific swing dancers. Oh, and there's no cover on Saturday afternoon.
