Little Nell in Dec. ...worth it??

Thinking of booking the Nell in Aspen during mid Dec.This would be for a pampering/ski/romantic trip. Its high..which is ok if its worth it.Any input? Also , whats the good snow situation usually like in mid-Dec.?Also considering Beaver Creek and Telluride.Thanks...

I've never stayed there. But as a CO native, I generally don't recommend Aspen as a destination. I'd go to Beaver Creek out of the 3 you listed. Then you can also ski Vail. Snow should be pretty good by then... depends on how early winter hits though - it's been hard to predict the last few years with the drought situation. We were up there a couple years ago around Thanksgiving and the slopes weren't open yet because there wasn't any snow.

Thanks a lot....I have heard great stuff...I think Aspen sounds fantastic..shopping, dining, great skiing, etc.It is so helpful to hear tips from those who are more familiar than me with the areas in question.
