Litchfield Beach

Interested in traveling to MB area this April with my husband and 2 boys, ages 5 and 6. Have done HHI many times. Do not want to be in the heart of MB craziness, but will certainly drive in to do kid things. After reading several posts, Litchfield Beach pops up again and again, specifically Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort. So, now I'm investigating further. Where? Which buildings/areas are recommended? We want to have a short walk to the beach in an updated condo with a pool. It just seems that there are several areas, ie. Bridgewater, and I don't know which to target and/or stay away from. I'm searching on vrbo and homeaway. Any and all information regarding Litchfield Beach is welcome. Thank you so much.

I just saw this after I replied to you on the other thread. How long do you want to go for. If not a full week you might consider the Litchfield Inn which is right ON the beach.
Here is the other part I posted.
At Litchfield there are buildings that are on the beach--Bridgewater, Cambridge, Fordham, ______,Paget, Whitney Parish. etc. I don't know what is for rent in these. There are also houses that are not a long walk which may be what you are referring to as "central". Is there a diagram. For example from our condo we have an ocean front view, first floor, but have a short walk to the beach because you cannot walk on the dune, but must cross with the boardwalks in front of the buildings. It is a beautiful area, and the activities available and the food choices are unrivalled.
All the areas have pools for them

I think Bridgewater has a lazy river, but I don't think any of the pools are heated so April may be early for swimming. It will be in the ocean.

Hi, Gretchen, Wasn't sure if you would see my other post. Glad you responded. We want a Saturday to Saturday stay.
When I was talking about "central", I must have been referring to MB in general, as in I don't want to stay in "central MB" and appreciated the suggestion to stay south.

Anyway, can't find a diagram to save my life, and there are so many building names, it seems. Bridgewater looked nice, because I saw the pool, but am not finding an actual rental. I just can't make heads or tails of the layout and what is what. Ocean front view would work with the short walk on the boardwalks, I think.

And so when I'm on the web site for LItchfield Golf and Beach Resort and do a search of available rentals, the "seaside inn" keeps coming up. What is that?

Also Sandpiper, Warwick, Marsh Hawk. Are these buildings or communities? WHat is Seaside Inn?

I went to see it last time we were down for another poster. it is the rental condo building near the main building. it is behind a HUGE screen of trees. I would rent elsewhere.
I was trying to remember those others you listed. Warwick is the building next to ours (Cambridge) and is ocean front. Sand Piper is may be a group of "houses" as is Marsh Hawk. They are not far from the beach.
I would look for a rental in one of the buildings. You will have a sea view of some kind, I am pretty sure.
