Lion King Chicago 2003

Using the 877Chicago number, I obtained 6 tickets for myself and husband, our children and grandchildren to Lion King in July. We have two rooms at the Hyatt McCormick for two nights and premium tickets at the Cadillac Palace, Orchestra, Dress Circle or Loge. This package has cost us $1200.00. Please, do not flame me....for those of you that are familiar with Chicago prices, have we made a decent deal? Thank you.

Opinion?

First of all, I'd say you are great parents and grandparents!<BR>Did you get a good deal? At $200 apiece, it sounds okay to me for top theater tickets and two nights at a hotel. Could you have done better? Possibly! So what! You weren't screwed...you're happy....enjoy!

Thanks Howard. For that kind of money, I just wanted someone to tell me I hadn't made a mistake!

Let's assume tickets are $100 a piece - that leaves 600 for two rooms for two nights (150) - what Hyatt are you at? Could have booked cheaper rooms at Priceline - you may have overpaid by maybe a couple of hundred. So not too bad of a deal

Vacations and trips shouldn't always be about getting the best deal; sometimes it's about treating yourself well. If you can afford this, then it sounds reasonable to me.
