Lincoln - Is it worth a stop at nice Italian Rest.

We are planning on dinner in Lincoln and looking around at the Haymarket Plaza. Is this worth a stop on a 2700 mile cross country trip? Is there a moderate priced Italian restaurant there or near by?

"is this worth a stop?" pray tell, what other place within about 500 miles of Lincoln would be worth a stop? I think it sounds like a good bet.

Is there some reason why it has to be Italian? If you are in the Haymarket you would have opportunities to stop at other restaurants. Lazlo's comes to mind as a decent brew pub.

If you want to drive up to Omaha (45 mins) or if you are already on I-80 you could stop earlier and spend time in the Old Market. There is Vivace (a nice Italian Rest.) as well as Spaghetti Works (okay, but not spectacular)

If your 2700 mile trip revolves around Lincoln, I would speculate that you have been everywhere else on earth and this is the last stop on your list.
