LGA to midtown
 

Is a taxi better than a car service in getting from the airport on a Thursday around noontime? My son-in-law is recommending the car service,but I thought I read otherwise. Any thoughts? What about returning to LGA on Mon. in time to get a 7pm flight.

At that time the price will be about the same and it's faster easier to get into a cab. With a car service you have to call when you land, then find them, then drag your luggage out to the parking lot. The fare will be about $35 or so.

Car service from LGA really only makes sense if you're coming in at rush hour - when cab can be more expensive due to traffic - to very late at night.
