Letchworth State Park

We're staying in Letchworth for a few nights in mid July. Any feedback on great hikes we should take? Nearby historic sites? We are also bringing our canoe - any suggestions on where to do some paddling? Thanks for your help.

Are you staying at Glen Iris Inn? We stayed there last fall and it was a perfect place to get away from the world and unwind. There is a short walk to the upper falls which is nice. There is also a longer trail to the lower falls. The park is big enough to allow you plenty of room to roam and explore. There's an information center mid-way in the park for you to get information on everything [trails and canoeing]

Yes we are staying at the Glen Iris for 2 nights. I've been to the Inn for breakfast years ago when I was at Letchworth on business and have always wanted to go back. Thanks for the input.

Any suggestions for Letchworth State Park with small children (ages 4, 7 & 10) - They're not really used to hiking so I'd like some relatively easy hikes that are still worthwhile.
