Lenox or Wyndham on Broad St.

Would love to get some input from anyone familiar with these two hotels. We are planning a trip in Oct. and were able to find rooms available (for under $300 night!)
Are the rooms very clean and upscale? Also, for location it seems the Lenox might be the better choice. I've also read some posts which mentioned construction noise at the Wyndham. Any comments?? Thanks!

These are pretty common hotel names. Are you talking about the ones in Boston?

Both are very nice hotels. I'd pick whichever is in the best location for what you have planned during your visit.

The Wyndham is in the financial district (very quiet at night), but it's an easier walk to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Marketplace and the waterfront.

The Lenox is superbly located at Copley Square, steps from the Public Gardens, Prudential Center, Newbury Street, etc.

How are the rooms at the Lenox? Since it is an old hotel I was wondering if they were a bit shabby or not? (And Yes, these are in Boston)

The Lenox is old world Boston and definitely not shabby! It is a great location and in a much safer and more interesting neighborhood than the Wyndham. Rooma at the Lenox may be a bit small because it is an old property - but it's all part of the ambiance.
