Le Pavillon

How are the rooms at Le Pavillon now? Have read older postings describing the rooms as very small & quite dreadful. Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed there recently.

Which city is this place located?

I assume you mean the Le Pavillon in New Orleans, Tina. It's a nice hotel that has been upgraded very recently. In fact, one of the big travel mags just listed it as a good choice for N.O. travelers. One caveat: it's on Poydras, not a terribly good location if you plan to stay in the Quarter most of the time!

Just booked super rates at the Le Pavillon in N.O., thought this was a short walk to the French quarter? Have always stayed at the Royal Orleans-did I make a mistake?

Le Pavillon is a cab ride from the FQ.
Don't walk it... it's dangerous off an on all the way back to the hotel.
Nice hotel, last time I stayed there on business. It's in the business district.
