Le Meridien in Boston?

Planning a surprise getaway weekend to Boston for my husband's 40th b-day. Just used Priceline--picked 4-star hotel in downtown--and got Le Meridien for $120/night (Friday & Saturday).

Just wondering if anyone has stayed there and what they thought of it!

It's a fine hotel 4-5 star. It is in the financial district, but Boston is so small that it is an easy walk to T, Quincy Market, harbor.

Lisa,
I've never stayed there, but I work right next door. It's a nice area. The freedom trial is right there. Faniuel Hall is right down the street. There a small, but nice park right out front. The Aquarium is a 5-10 minute walk. Good deal for $120. have fun !!

I haven't stayed there, but once had a business meeting there. The rooms and lobby were very nice and the food/service in the restaurant was great. Sounds like you got a good deal!

It is a beautiful and luxerious hotel! It would be ideal.

The restaurant they house, Julien is very french, very upscale, very romantic! (also very $$ but worth it for special occasion!)

Meridian in downtown and is very convenient. Have a great time!
