LAX TOURS

Seeking the best tour of LAX area for a family of five with ages of children ranging from 8-17. Want to see the "touristy" sites. We have been on Gray line tours in Washington D.C and N.Y.C and was definitely NOT impressed. Any recommendations?

LAX is an airport (and not in that great an area) so I'm pretty sure your don't want a tour of LAX.

Where are you staying and what sorts of things do you want to see - LA county alone is over 4000 square miles.

Yes I know Lax is an airport code...but I meant the "AREA" where the typical tourists venture to...to be specific...Venice Beach..the Walk of Fame...Rodeo Drive...the "Hollywood"sign etc.. We are staying in various towns in CA and were hoping to take a tour of theLos Angeles area while we are staying in Anaheim. (Being a former employee of the airline industry I am stuck with the habit of using the airport codes...sorry!)

Well adding Orange County you are up to almost 5000 square miles. The places you mention are miles (and sometimes hours) apart. Since you'll have a car -- if it was me, I'd just go to the places I want to see and forget about a bus tour.

Read up on Starline Tours and LA tours...but would really like to know if anyone could recommend, from experience, the best tour. Gray line tours in D.C and NYC were overcrowded and/or no space avlb on busses. Also after waiting inlong, long lines for busses NUMEROUS times we would then have a"guide" that we could not understand. Recommendations on tours anyone?
