LAX to Westin Bonaventure
 

Arriving LA for 2 days will not be renting a car. How do we get from LAX to the Westin Bonaventure by public transportation?

I would take the flyaway bus to Union Station, then cab it to the Bonaventure.

Not officially public transportation but the Super Shuttle is easy. Just outside of baggage claim. I believe it is $16.

I would take Super Shuttle rather than the fly away bus as it will not involve changing vehicles when you get downtown. Super Shuttle will take you right from the airport to the hotel.

You will be sharing the Supershuttle so it may stop a few places before getting to the Westin, but it will still be easier and probably faster than other options.

Public transp is the big Flyaway Coach bus which picks up right outside your terminal. Make sure your bus says UNION STATION. $4 to Union Station, then the 25c Dash Bus B runs to Figueroa and 5th where you walk a block up to the Bonaventure.

After 6pm the Dash bus stops, so you'd have to take metro red line subway ($1.25) to Figueroa and 7th and walk 3 blocks.

Flyaway takes big luggage, but the metro and dash really only have room for wheeled smaller bags.
