Good fare to Dallas on American Airlines.

Any suggestions of Must Sees and Must Eats in Dallas and/or Fort Worth?

Dallas is one of the largest metro areas in the USA. It has many things to see and certainly many restaurants. Try www.guidelive.com for entertainment and restaurant events and http://www.dallascvb.com/visitors/ for visitor info.

One of my favorite restaurants is S and D Oyster Bar on McKinney. Great New Orleans type seafood, good prices. Plump oysters. Awesome fried oysters and shrimp. The best remoulade sauce I have ever had.

See the post "Dallas or San Antonio" elsewhere on this board.

There are TONS of fun things to do in both Dallas and Fort Worth. I would strongly advise renting a car while you are here.

When is the fare good? Dallas can be pretty in the spring, and the Dallas Arboretum's "Dallas Blooms" spring flower show is beautiful!

Henderson off I-75 is good for restaurant/bar nightlife. Look for Tei Tei, Cuba Libre, the Old Monk.

Shopping, movies and eats...look for West Village and Mockingbird Station.

Northpark Mall is nice at Xmas time.

Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas World Aquarium.

Lunch @ Bistro Louise and afternoon at Amon Carter and Kimbell museums in Ft Worth.
On the high end, Lola (www.lola4dinner.com) and Iris are VG in D. Ferre (West Village) has an early evening 3 course dinner special with a movie ticket to the adjacent Magnolia theater for $23.95 (we recently saw Sideways and the food was VG). The '01 Antinori "meritage" was even better.
I agree the www.guidelive.com site is very reliable, and Dallas almost looks like the real South in the Spring.
