Late night eats

I'm sure a lot of you have had them at one point or another. What I'm talking about are the late night munchies. I will be in South Beach next month, although this will not be my first time there I am somewhat familiar with the area. But the one thing that I probably don't know anything about is where to get something to eat after leaving a bar or club in South Beach. Does anyone have a favorite place that they go to to grab some good late night food? Preferably closer to Ocean Drive since the hotel I am staying at is on Ocean. Thanks

I know of one place. It's on Collins and 15th I believe. It's a Cuban place and they have some good Cuban food there that could hit the spot especially after a night of drinking. I don't know the name of the place but if your going north on Collins it will be on your left.

The News Cafe on Collins (i think, although definitely centrally located) is open 24 hours and is rated by Rough Guide/Lonely Planet etc as a great place for drinks/snacks etc at any time of the day

Might want to check on chowhound.com . Great recommendations for and from foodies, and organized geographically.

We call this elevensies, or second supper. Very important to have a bite to eat after a night of imbibing. It's the hobbit's way.

Wow, Eric, a Cuban place in South Beach? Who woulda thunk?

Lou, my mistake, the news cafe is not on collins but at 800 ocean drive, on 8th street.
