Late night arrival in Seattle need a hotel

We are arriving at SeaTac airport very late on a Teusday night. Can we get to a hotel for the night without renting a car? We are staying in the area for a week but just want to get to a hotel as easily and cheaply as we can for the night.

The Hilton at the airport has complimentary bus service and I'm sure many other hotels near the airport also provide this service: http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hote...ngton/index.do

If you wanted to ride the light rail to the International District you could stay at the American Hotel which is also a HI Hostel. Link to Youtube video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zFQUNW7os4
The light rail ride plus the hostel room will likely be cheaper than an airport hotel with planes roaring overhead all night.

The last train leaves Seatac for Seattle at 12:10 a.m. (and 11:05 p.m. on Sunday).

Taking the train to a hostel in the International District (not my favorite place in the middle of the night) might satisfy "cheaply" but not "easily."

You could stay at one of the chain hotels around the airport. It's not a pretty area but might work in this situation.
Or you could taxi into downtown Seattle ($45) and stay at any of many hotels there, then get your car in the morning from a downtown rental place.

There are alot of hotels in seatac. I think they all have shuttles. I have booked at hotels like the Hilton by bidding on priceline at about $60.

We've always had excellent results with using Priceline at the Seattle Airport. Bid 3 star and you will likely get Doubletree or Radisson. They all have shuttles and you can pick up a car inthe morning.

You may find something on www.hotwire.com also that fits your bill f you do not want bid on priceline or have more than 2 people in the room.. To decipher hotwire hotels go to www. betterbididng.com hotwire hotel lists for washington state.
