Last week - Diana exhibit in Houston

I visited this traveling exhibit last week when I was in Houston and really enjoyed it. Feb. 5th is the last day in Houston, so if you are in town - or were planning to go - you only have a few days left.

It was a nice surprise to learn the exhibit was in town at the Museum of Natural Science. I loved seeing the wedding dress as well as tiara, jewels and other clothes.

starr....I saw it in Toronto two years ago and really enjoyed it! The wedding dress only cost around $3,000. I was really surprised by that!

I know. We found that staggering. The signage said it cost 1000 pounds which was about $1900 USD. That just didn't make sense. The fabric alone would have cost more than that - especially with the huge train.

It made me wonder if I had read the Emmanuels had donated the labor for the dress. Wish I knew.

She was so much smaller than I expected. Tiny, really.

Yes, I didn't realize she was that small either.

But the exhibit was worth it just to see her dress. Beautiful!

Hopefully the exhibit is better than the believability of the signage.
