Last MinuteTravel.com.....What do you know about them?

Help! We booked 3 nights in Clearwater, FL for 4th of July weekend through Hotel Distribution Network about 6-7 weeks ago. We just found out that the hotel wouldn't accept their (our) reservations. Apparently HDN is about to go belly up. Yikes! Now we are scrambling to re-book for the busy holiday weekend. Last Minute Travel has some attractive rates, but I'm not familiar with them and am a little "gun shy" now. Anyone have any comments about this website? Are they reliable/legitimate???

Anyone?

I vaguely remember this site referenced as a minor part of a Men's Journal article and I think the writer booked a trip to Amsterdam with it. The mention was in passing so I guess there were no problems.

If you can wait, you should repost on Monday morning around 8. The board is usually more active during the day on weekdays. I guess people are bored at work.

Book through expedia.com,, they have some especially good rates if you're staying 3 nights and are not in danger of going belly-up.

Well, since I'd never heard of Last Minute Travel (and nobody responded quick enough here) I decided to play it safe. I booked on Expedia with my AmEx. Last Minute actually had better rates and more availabilities, but it's the great unknown....you know?! Thanks guys.
