Last Minute with Teenagers...Help!!!
 

Planning a last minute vacation in Colorado in August with 3 teenagers...16-18yrs old...Will be in Colorado Springs visiting friends for 2 days..Need help on where to go for next 5 days...Thinking about Ouray and jeep tours and what else? Any other ideas appreciated.

How about Rocky Mtn Natl Park? It's about an hour north of Denver.

Why not sit them down and help with the plans? Good training for their own future vacations, plus they'll be in less of a position to complain about *YOUR* choices if they find some of the attractions not to their liking. Give them a budget to work with, both in time and dollars, and see how they do. The results might amaze you.

I 2nd the motion from 'r'. Send them to the library and tell them to come home with a proposal and some options.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National park and if you go to Ouray keep heading south to Silverton and then on to Mesa Verde National Park. My boys loved Mesa Verde.<BR><BR>Utahtea
