last minute trip ideas
 

I'm looking for some minute trip ideas, would like to escape the heat and avoid crowds. Thinking Nantucket, Cape Cod or upstate New York.

Lake Placid, Lake George, or the Finger Lakes are all great choices in Upstate NY... at half the price...

You won't be escaping any crowds on Cape Cod! And last minute bookings anywhere for this 4th of July week...well, you might have to just take anything that you can find.

is smedley ritzy or crappy? don't know that phrase...

haha, smedley = fancy, uptight, dress codes, country club...
