Last minute packing for Maui!

We will be leaving on Saturday for Maui. Our first time there! My husband leaves the packing to me, that I don't forget anything. So anybody help me with a checklist! Have I forgot anything?
Hurry, I'm running out of time!! Thanks, Deb

Just don't repeat my mistake and pack all of your clothes in your checked luggage. Pack your swimsuits in your carry-ons that way if your bag gets lost you can at least enjoy the water until you get it.

Sunscreen, casual clothes, NO dressy clothes. Pack light and pick up some Maui clothes at decent prices at Hilo Hatties (in Lahaina and Kihei).

good walking/hiking shoes that you don't care if they muddy.

I second the swim suit in the carryon (why have the agony of swim suit purchase/try on on vacation). Must have flip-flops or buy there. It's the easiest place to go for packing IMO: shorts, tanks, sandals, sundress, light skirts and a light sweatshirt for windy eves.

I usually buy sunscreen, hat, beach towel in Hawaii.

I pack 3 bathing suits (they take longer to dry in Hawaii then in Mexico).

Shorts, tops, sandals, for day and lightweight slacks, capris, or skirt for evenings.

Make sure you have alternative sandals, so if one pair gives you a blister you can wear another. I wound up living in my Tivas, which went to the beach and were comfortable for walking. Don't forget to wear something loose on the plane. Sunscreen. At least two swim suits. Hair ties that don't break your hair. A sarong (though you can buy one there) to wear with your swim suit. Band-aids for those blisters, if they appear. Have a great time!
