last minute Cape Cod trip
Hi,
I am thinking about going to the Cape next Mon-Thurs. with 2 teenage girls. One day we will take the Ferry to MV and spend the day there, the other couple off days we will explore the Cape, shop, swim, eat, etc. Any recommendations on the best area to stay, as well as a nice, yet not too expensive, hotel? Thanks for you input! |
Many hotels are running specials right now. I think the season has been really slow. I really like chatham, but a great hotel that;s not too far from there is the Ocean's edge in brewster.

I highly recommend the Fort Hill B&B in Eastham -(508-240-2870) it's the only hotel within the Cape Cod National Seashore. And it's a reasonably short drive (20 min) to Hyannisport where catch the ferry to MV, which is what we had planned as well. There are only three units in this hotel so it's not so easy to get into at the last minute. However, I've just had to cancel our reservation there for 5 nights BEGINNING Wednesday 8/19 - I believe the suite could accommodate 3. It's a beautiful part of the Cape and centrally located between Provincetown and Wellfleet and Chatham. Hope that helps!
