My hubby and I are going to Vegas to celebrate our 40th b-days - what should we not do?

don't go down town during the day but don't miss it at night it's a party.

Don't see Sigfried and Roy.

Don't go to Excalibur.<BR>Don't go to La Cage aux Follies.<BR>Don't wear shorts and a tee shirt to a nice restaurant.<BR>

Why did someone say not to see La Cage aux Follies? Being silly or isn't it any good? Isn't that the longest running show in LV?

Went in May - Had a great time. Besure to hotel hop. That will take a lonng time to do. Each hotel has something to offer and each hotel or shopping area has some sort of free show and each is great..Example: Ceasars underground shopping area and the water show at Bellogio.They are short but fun.<BR>The trick is to find out what time the times of these shows. I believe there is a list given out. Check with your hotel.. Also very good advice about going downtown at night - do not miss this - you will probably have to take a cab to and from but it is worth it. have a great time and don't bet toom much and you will have an even better time. Oh yes take a "short" tour to the dam. Half day is plenty.

Cage aux Follies is not that silly (which at least would make it fun) it is just not very good.Boring mostly. A bunch of tired queens getting dragged out for tired acts in their tired costumes that could use a dry cleaning.<BR>Ho hum.......

Don't believe a young lady downtown named Bridget when she says she'll be your friend for an hour. She'll take you on a short cut to her car through an alley, then her friend Tony, and her other friend Alfredo will take you on another short trip. But now the itching is starting, so my doctor needs to be my new friend instead of Bridget. Ahhh Bridget...<BR><BR>But I won $12.50 at the nickle slots, and I found a buffet too, so it worked out ok....
