You were ripped by the cab driver, we had that happen to.

As for TI I'm very surprised by what you said. I've stayed there 3 times and all times the room was perfectly clean and nice. No smell at all. We just stayed there last month and got a Tower Suite overlooking Sirens(dumb I agree)but our room was fantastic. Also stayed at Luxor, liked the tower rooms but the pyramid rooms have such a low ceiling it's claustophobic. When you were at TI why didn't you request another room? You more than likely would of been upgraded to a suite. Never stay in a room that your not happy with. Afterall your paying for it!

I would definitely say that TI is a very nice hotel. Next time I'm staying in Bellagio and try that breakfast buffet!

We also stayed at TI last year and had an absolutely wonderful room (I just politely asked the clerk for something "special" or w/a view): a corner room on the top floor with windows on 2 sides. Clean and lovely. We had several "midnight room-service suppers" in front of the double window looking up the north strip. Awesome! (The bad news is we only had the room-service suppers 'cause all the good restaurants close down too early on weeknights.)

And it's not true that no one ever wins anymore.....we came home with more money than when we left!.....
