Las Vegas to Barstow

Hi,

I'll be in Las Vegas from 13 to 17th March. I'm planning to go to Barstow during my stay in Las Vegas. Is there a better way to get to Barstow (day trip) than driving?
Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

You can take the Greyhound, $40 -$60 bucks round trip depending on when you travel and if you have discounts, but once you arrive in Barstow you won't have any way to get around. Driving is the best way. Just curious, have in grown up in Barstow, why in the world would you want to go there?

Hi Agedude,
Thanks for the reply. Outlet shopping is the reason why I want to go to Barstow.

The outlet shops in Las Vegas and Primm are better than the Barstow outlets. It isn't worth the expense to go to Barstow.

I agree with RBcal.Primm and Vegas both have large outlet malls.

W/o doubt - even if they were giving things away for free, it wouldn't be worth driving to Barstow an back.

Shop in LV . . . . .

We called in at Barstow on our way to Vegas last year. There were a lot of outlets closed down so it was very disappointing. I agree that Primm and the outdoor outlet shops which are North of the Strip (can't remember the name) are much better.
