Las Vegas Suite on the Strip
 

I'm looking for the best suite on the strip for the money, ($500-600/night).

I'm currently booked at the B in their penthouse suites but I've been reading a lot of posts saying that the B is outdated and not the hotel that it once was. I'm not sure if they have done any recent renovations, but I certainly don't want to drop $1,600 for a weekend stay at a hotel that hasn't been updated in 10 years just to see some musical fountains.

My girlfriend and I are a younger couple looking more a more modern, sexy look to a suite, which I'm not sure the B's penthouse suites would meet this definition. We're not going to be sitting in our rooms all day / night, but would like it to be something we're excited to come back to.

I have read a lot of people saying that the Wynn/core and the P/V are better stays for the money but I wasn't sure about their suites. Also, I haven't heard any comments about the ARIA and their suites. We want to stay on the strip, so the suites at the Palms, although I hear great things about them, are out. We're going to be going out a lot during the day and night, so a somewhat centralized location is important. We have both been to Vegas numerous times, but just with friends going the "economy" route and are trying to step it up a bit.

Any help you could offer would be great. We'll be down there Mid-July, so I'm trying to get the hotel changed as soon as possible, if necessary.

Check out the Cosmopolitan - it just opened at the beginning of this year. It's next to the Bellagio and connects to the City Center (Aria, Vdara) by walkway.

I just came back from Vegas last week and though I didn't stay at the Cosmo, we spent quite a bit of time there (in comparison to other casinos). The vibe of the hotel/casino skews toward a crowd looking for something upscale like Bellagio but younger and more modern. Lots of nice casino bars and the staff were all very friendly.

They have wraparound terrace suites that sound pretty nice - you would have a private terrace you can step out on and the views are incredible.

The B?

Hmm . . . Bally's, Bills? I'm guessing you mean the Bellagio but I've never heard it called "the B."

The Bellagio is a lovely hotel but I would choose a Tower Suite at the Wynn b/c I prefer the quieter feeling there. The Bellagio is always crowded b/c it's center strip and a major tourist attraction in itself.

I've never stayed at the Cosmopolitan but that would be a great choice too - if you can get one of the suites with a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. The Cosmo is definitely going for "modern and sexy" so that should appeal.

I too have Penthouse suite reserved at Bellagio so would appreciate summary of your experience. In fact I started separate thread asking for comments comparing Venetian Prima suite to Bellagio Penthouse.

LOVE the steam shower in their Suite. Just make sure it's a Strip view if that is what matters to you.
