Las Vegas restaurants

We prefer moderately priced ethnic restaurants. Any recommendations in Las Vegas? Thanks!

Lotus of Siam

Ellis Island Brewery 1 block behind Bally's. It's not ethnic but their steak dinner special is the best deal in Vegas.

Lotus of Siam is GREAT! There are tons of Asian places in the shopping centers along the roads leading off the Strip...here is a thread with lots of food talk that I began before my trip last winter.

We also liked China Mama--but it is a bit further off the strip:

LOS is under renovation but will reopen in Dec.
Check there website to make sure your dates in Vegas are when they are open...do not eat the buffet..only order off the menu..lunch or dinner are outstanding..considered one of the best Thai places in the US.

There is an pretty good Noodle House (Lillie's) in the Golden Nugget that is good..

99cent shrimp cocktail at the Golden Gate Casino is a good deal.

Binion's Horseshoe has the best $4.99 breakfast..huge ham steak and eggs with hash browns and toast.

Bouchon at the Venetian is excellent for breakfast and its a Thomas Keller restaurant who owns the French Laundry in Napa..reasonable and delicious!

ksucat, thanks for the heads up about the renovations at LOS. Unfortunately, they'll be closed until Dec 23, and we'll be there Dec 15-20. Oh, well.

I hate when that happens!!
It is one of the best Thai places..keep in the vault for a future trip..
Google ethnic restaurants in LV..some really good stuff off the strip.

they do a great Thai iced tea at Beijing No. 9 noodle at Caesar's palace; a bit pricey though at $6-7 each.
