las vegas restaurants
suggestions? anybody recently eat at postrio, star canyon, china grill?
Though expensive, I very much enjoyed the "tasting menu" dinner at Aqua (at the Bellagio) and recommend it for a splurge ($70). Unlike many restaurants that feature flash and decor over cuisine, the FOOD at Aqua is the main attraction (the dining room itself is nondescript).

If you like Mexican or Tex-Mex, try the Border Grill at Mandalay, which also has some really good Tequila drinks. If you want something more sure-fire, try ANYTHING off the menu at Coyote Cafe at MGM!
I second the Coyote Cafe in MGM. You can't go wrong. It has no real atmosphere but the food is just outstanding year after year. The restaurant has a different menu from the bar. I like the bar area just as well. The Carne Asada (steak) is beyond good. My husband eats out all over the country on business and swears by it. I like the duck quesidilla (sp?) appetizer. Everything is so unique. Bellagio restaurants are wonderful but I still prefer Mark Miller's Coyote.

Mandalay Bay has many restaurants that I tried. I liked Red Square and Border Grill, did'nt try China Grill.Where's Postrio located?
have not heard of any of those restaurants.
If price is no limit.....Picasco's at Bellagio. The food, the servie, the resturant is stunning. Out of this world. I ate there in January, and would go back in a heart beat.

Postrio is a new "WGPuck" restaurant located in the Venetian.
The Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Hotel is GREAT!!! Very untraditional Mexican food.
I recently had an excellent Italian dinner at Al Dente in Bally's. I had eaten there a couple of times in the past and decided to go back again. It was just as good, if not better, than my previous experiences there. I also recently ate at Trattoria Del Lupo at Mandalay Bay. My entree was very good, but the menu itself only has around ten items to choose from. <BR>Other good choices include: Hyakumi for Japanese food at Caesar's; the Royal Star (I think that's the name) for Chinese food at Venetian; and The Range for steaks and chops at Harrah's.

At MGM, forget Coyote...go to Emeril's!!!
We had drinks @ Red Square, they have a great vodka menu.China Grill was great looking but not sure about the food since we didn't eat there, instead we ate at Rum Jungle which excellent. We are going back to LV and would like to eat at the restaurants at the Bellagio but its hard to make reservations. We would like to hear from folks about the Venitian restaurants(Delmonico,Star Canyon,Zefferino etc.)Also how are the Paris restaurants?

We stayed at the Venetian. The hotel was very nice but to busy.Emeril's steakhouse was very expensive. We passed some of the other restaurants in the hotel but we did not try them because we were not sure what to expect. What do others think about the hotel and the restaurants.Next visit we would like to stay in the Mandalay Bay hotel it seemed like alot of fun.Does anybody also have any reports. Thanks!
