Las Vegas Restaurant reccomendation
Hi,
There is a group of 4 of us going to be in Las Vegas on a Tuesday night and we are after reccomendations for great restaurants that fit the following spec's Open:- Tuesday Night Price:- approx $50 - $75 a head (not inc wine) Location:- Strip (or thereabouts) Dress:- smart/casual(no tie or jacket requirement is a must - we're on holiday) Mood / ambience:- no loud music - not a strictly lovey dovey couples place either Food:- Fine Dining a la carte / menu degustation Age:- 35-45 friendly Must Nots:- Buffet (although we love them), Spicy food (although again we love it), places with too much attitude (i.e mega trendy places), snotty staff. Any advice on how necessary it will be to book up well in advance would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance |
Have you ever used www.opentable.com for making reservations? I use it frequently and find it very helpful both for getting availability for many restaurants at the same time, but also for links to the restaurants and their menus.
I really enjoyed our dinner at Andres at Monte Carlo and the budget seems about right. Fine dining, not too much attitude, and our service was very friendly. |
Wolfgang Puck's Chinois (in the Caesar's Forum) is nice with a group of four...you can share and try so many different interesting dishes. The menu is on savvydiner.com

How about "Prime" at the Bellagio. Check it out on the Bellagio website. Wonderful atmosphere, food, and wine. Or maybe Charlie Palmer Steak at the Four Seasons (top floors of Mandalay Bay).
|
Definately recommend VooDoo Cafe at Rio-its on the 53rd floor (the VooDoo lounge, with free entry to diners, is on the floor above, the top of the Rio). Fantastic food, great ambience, and an AMAZING view.

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris--request a window table for a view of Bellagio fountains.
|
I second Wolfgang Puck's Chinois and also Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. Two of my favorite Las Vegas dinners.
