Las Vegas Restaurant for dance team

Help - I am bringing a dance team to Vegas in June for a competition and need a restaurant for "team dinner". There will be 20 kids (ages 11-18) and their families. Any suggestions? I'm desperate!

I'd probably check out the buffet at whatever hotel you'll be staying at...Lots of diffrent appetites, ages, etc. The logistics could be nightmarish to say the least.

I dunno. Trying to get 60 (20 kids plus 2 parents each) people into a buffet sounds pretty difficult to me. Where are you staying? What's the budget?

For a group this large, I would consider calling your hotel's concierge and getting a recommendation. I'd try to get the hotel to handle the logistics of this.

This place is a bit west of the Strip, but is one of the highest-rated traditional Italian places in Vegas:

Disclosure: I am good friends with a cousin of the owners (who owns his own place here in Long Beach, CA).

They can definitely handle your crowd.

How about the Grand Lux at the Venetian. They have a banquet room. Lots of variety in addition to excellent desserts. Their website lists a contact person for banquets or use of the private dining room.

Ferraro's is one of my favorites, but it is going to be way to costly for your group. I think there is a Rainforest Cafe at Manadalay.

I also agree with the suggestion to call the concierge.

Sorry, I posted before I was finished. If you don't have a Hard Rock Cafe in your area, that may also be an option. Kids love it. They too have group facilities.

I'm not sure if they still do it, but my group went to Excalibur for the Midieval banquet and Knights tournament... they took a huge group and the kids and adults had a great time... food is simple and decent...
