Las Vegas - Restaurant

Going for a quick honeymoon trip to Vegas in January. We're staying at Aria. Where can we go for a romantic, but good meal? I haven't been to Vegas in a few years, and it changes so much, I'm not sure where to go anymore.

Congrat's!
I would head over to the Wynn and dine at either Alex (pricey) but very romantic and excellent food, DB Brasserie and they have a 4 course meal for around $50 or the Country Club restaurant with views of the golf course.

All the top restaurants have photos and menus on the hotels' websites, so it's a good idea to peruse those and determine which you find most appealing.

We've had outstanding dining experiences in Las Vegas except Olives (awful service and did not care for the food) and the Eiffel Tower restaurant at dinner (lunch was outstanding).

For a really romantic breakfast, go to Tableau off the Wynn Towers Suites lobby - outstanding in every way.

DW and I like Joe's Stone Crab, Emril's Delmonico and Fleur de Lys.

Here's another HUGE recommendation for Fleur de Lys. The food is exceptional - I just wish the room/decor were a bit more intimate and romantic.

I know this isn't as nice as the ones you have been talking about, but has anyone eaten at the Sahara Steak house? Need feed back.
thanks

We saw the Aria yesterday--amazing!

We had a lovely meal at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris.

Any discounts/coupons available for the Bellagio breakfast Buffet, Spago at Caesars or any other top restaurants mid-strip? Thanks.

I certainly have to agree with ksucat's recommendation of Alex - great food and atmosphere. If you'd rather eat closer to Aria, Picasso (at Bellagio) is nearly as good, and a little less expensive; if you're really lucky you'll get a table with a view of Bellagio's fountains.

I would not include Mon Ami Gabi in "romantic" possibiities. Not only is the menu quite limited, when the place is busy the noise is truly deafening!

if you want a throw back to the old school days and pretty good food is downtown at the Four Queens, Hugo's Cellar..entrance down the stairs are right by my wifes lucky roulette wheel.
If you like sushi, Okada at the Wynn is excellent and for the best Thai outside of Bangkok and off the strip is Lotus of Siam..they just renovated but excellent food..do not order off the buffet..only menu!

We don't mind a limited menu as long as there's one thing for each of us to order. We were in a corner near the window at Mon Ami Gabi and din't find it noisy at all.
