las Vegas Questions
1. Has anyone here stayed at the Venetian recently? I understand that there is construction going on nearby. Can you hear the noise from the rooms?
2. Has anyone been to Napolean's? I heard that they used to have a happy hour with a carving station or something-does that still exist and is it worth going to? Where exactly is it located-I think it's in the Paris hotel. I think I also heard that they have a piano bar, is that correct? |
I stayed at the Venetian two months ago. The construction is on its "sister hotel," The Palazzo. We faced the site and couldn;t hear any noise. We LOVED the Venetian!!!

I stayed at the Venetian on Sunday night. I didn't see or hear any construction. I had a suite on the 29th floor.
I thought it was very nice and would definitely stay there again. I stayed at Caesar's back in January and liked Venetian better. |
tpatricco, did you check out the Wynn on this trip? Will you leave a review of the Venetian? I've stayed at the Venetian before and really liked it a lot, but I've got dueling reservations this winter at the Venetian (cheaper) and the Wynn...

i have stayed at the Wynn a couple times; the beds/linens are so grand!! the rooms are appointed like none other & everything in the rooms is for sale, including the flat screen TV, i found that amusing. the hotel & casino are quite a bit smaller than most of the other hotels in Vegas, which was nice. the restaurants i ate it were so/so, some of the other hotels have been choices for eating. but its a classy hotel with great service & beautiful surroundings.i also like the Venetian but I don't love their casino for some reason. but i like the restaurants at the Venetian.

I was only there overnight for a business meeting on Monday. Flew in Sunday night, flew out Monday evening.
I did take a nice hot bath and order room service. I got what I felt was a pretty reasonable deal for last minute travel on Travelocity for Air+ Hotel. |
