Las Vegas Prices

Right now leaving from charlotte, nc I have a package deal of $1004 for my husband and I to travel to Las Vegas and stay at the NYNY hotel. The price has slowly gone down. I'm nervous that if I don't book soon it will go up. It is $825 the week before (we are going on the 3rd) and $2000 the week after. What are the odds of the price jumping up?

Going on the 3rd of what?

In general in Vegas, it is a good idea to book now and keep an eye on prices. If they go down, you can call and get the improved price, if they go up, you are covered.

Book it now.

Oh sorry. March 3rd.

I guess I'm wondering if the price will change tomorrow being the first of the year.

Doesn't it depend on who the package is through, regarding if you can get a better price? If it's through an airline or Expedia/ Travelocity, I think it's more difficult (cancellation/ change fees, etc.). I would tend to book now, as March is very popular in Vegas (Nice weather, March madness, conventions, etc).

Opening round of March madness won't be until the 18th so you dodged that bullet. And Easter week isn't until the end of the month. But March is still a pretty popular time in LV.

Not quite sure what you mean about prices going up on Jan 1.

But if you can afford $1004, and if learning the rates went down $100 or $200 wouldn't kill you , then I'd book now.
