Las Vegas pools with shade?

Am heading to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon in July with DH and two kids (7 and 4). We will be flying into Vegas and staying a night or two at the beginning of the trip and a night or two at the end.

Am looking for pools that will appeal to the kids (I personally always like a WOW factor myself and really enjoy swimming pools) and with as much shade as possible. If it is attached to a decent hotel that is located in an area with things to do (non gambling) all the better!

THANKS! so much!!

Dear mama: Also check out Tripadvisor forums. They have a very active Las Vegas board by people who LOVE LV and travel there often.

Thank You Michelle!

That was a good tip as there were many posts of my exact question.

There's a lot of positive feedback for the Mirage and for Mandalay Bay. MB has very good deals right now.

There's another place too with very low rates, but seems adult oriented. 3 nights for $183 all in (travelzoo, buy 2 nights get one free). It is the M Resort. Very nice rooms... super swanky and affordable but maybe not the best for when travelling with kids.
