Las Vegas- Paris Hotel

Would love some pros and cons of Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Also, Ceasers and Mirage are the other choices so anything on them would be great. Thanks

We have stayed at both Caesar's and Paris. We much prefer Paris for a hotel altho Caesars has a great shopping area. (One disclaimer, at Caesar's we had an older room that was less attractive than a typical Motel 6). I thought the service at Paris was better--at least it was for us--and it was just more "manageable" in terms of getting back and forth to the room. We also enjoyed the Paris theme, which we found very relaxing, as casino environments go.

My husband and I are probably going to stay at Paris for our next trip to Vegas. We've been to Vegas before and spent some time at the Paris casino, which we liked since the ceiling is high so it's not too smokey and it just has a little more atmosphere than some of the other casinos. It's in a very central location, meaning you can walk to the Bellagio, Venentian and Caesar's for eating and shopping. I've also read pretty good things about the rooms, and the bathrooms are supposed to be nice.

Caesar's...new tower is great. There pool is fabulous..connected to Forum Shops which are out of this world. From the forum shops, there is a cut through to the Mirage...again a great place to stay. Favorite all around, however, is Paris. Just seems so much cleaner...smaller...restaurants are wonderful...prime location!!!

We stayed at Paris 5 years ago and really enjoyed it..mindyou, when we go at the end of this month, we have decided on the Bellagio. The rooms are not out of this world but quite nice(mind you, it had just opened) and we were able to use our Triple A card for a further discounted rate. the little bakery downstairs came in handy for breakfast as we would pick up a light breakfast on the way to the pool. The pool area..now this is not very nice, quite sterile..peaceful but not much atmosphere and the water too cold to swim in. We never ate at any of the restaurants as they were a little pricey for a family with teens. The reason I did not choose Caesars this time is because I knew there would be no guarantee for the tower I wanted and long ago when we stayed in the Roman Tower.well, I didn't like it.From what I understand, the Mirage pool area is quite crowded these days with families and I really got the feeling when we visited in 2000 that a lot of tour groups were hanging around. Travel books say the rooms at the Mirage are nice but a lot of the surrounding hotels are good competition, i.e., even the TI has nice rooms and is cheaper.

We stayed at Paris last March and really enjoyed it- the room was great, the service was good and we loved the breakfast buffet. That being said we stayed at the Mirage a year before and it is a step above quality wise-nothing I can put my finger on but the atmosphere was a bit classier.

Paris is the newest out of the 3 hotels you mentioned. One of my favorite restaurants in Vegas is at the Paris. Mon Ami Gabi is fantastic, you can sit outside and watch the fountains at the Bellagio go while you dine on filet mignon! That is a MUST do! Also have to get a French pastry from their bakery, yum! The Mirage is a great hotel, they have beautiful pools and it is still a very distinctive crowd that goes there, they have fun entertainment at night in the Atrium Lounge.

Okay everyone, thank you. I've booked rooms at Paris for Oct 26-28. Rate was not great but they all seem to be a little high at this time. Avg for the 3nights is 209.00 including the tax. Also includes a 50 food credit for the stay and 2 for 1 at the Eifel Tower and 15% off spa services. Which I will definetly use. Can't wait to go.

Thanks for the update and hope you have a great time!! I do not normally do buffets, but I strongly recommend the Paris one for at least a breakfast or brunch. The breakfast is outrageously reasonably priced for the sumptuous and beautifully presented food. DO NOT MISS the crepes or baguettes, the most authentic tasting I have ever had outside of the *real* Paris!!

You know I've heard that the buffet breakfast was great here. I can't wait to go. I was actually in Paris last year for a long weekend on a business trip with my husband and the french food is so good. I'm hoping to get some french feel here... thanks
