Las Vegas Next Weekend
 

Going to Las Vegas on business and my husband is joining me for the weekend. Looking for suggestions on shows. Hear O is great but no tickets are available. What do people know about the other Cirque shows? Other shows? Don't want to spend $250 a ticket! Any suggestion of a good restaurant for a special meal?

Mysterre at TI (Treasure Island) is a frantastic show and a bit cheaper than O or the new show at the MGM.

Zumanity at New York New York appears to get very mixed reviews (not your typical cds show)

DH and I ate at Mon Ami Gabi in Paris on our Jan. trip. Sat by the window overlooking Bellagio fountains. The meal, wine, atmosphere and service were outstanding.

We enjoyed O but have also heard raves about Mysterre (though I haven't seen it).

I think Mystere is fantastic for the close to $100 price range. Everybody in my party loved it a few years ago.

My wife really liked Mamma Mia recently and we both enjoyed the Scinta's (for even less $).

If you are OK with $100ish, Mystere is the way to go.

Oh, one other thing. As a couple we had a very good time at Rita Rudners show at NYNY. Perhaps you can do 2?

We really liked Mamma Mia.

Now that I think about it....I like Mystere too!!!!
