las vegas -- knock offs?

My husband and I are traveling to Las Vegas this weekend (my first trip to Vegas). I have been reading on the message boards about the street vendors in New York and D.C. that sell knock-off Kate Spade purses, etc. and was wondering if there are similar street vendors in Vegas. If so, where would I find them?

Try inside the New York/New York casino. I hear it is just like the real thing!

never saw venders in NYNY...only place I know is flea markets..they sell all kids of knockoffs...

Sam Dec 28th, 2001 07:54 AM

Everything in Vegas is fake.

David Dec 28th, 2001 09:53 AM

I've never seen knock-off vendors in LV.

You know what, though? I would bet more people (percentage wise) in LV would be interested in buying knock-offs than in NYC.

Maybe you've stumbled onto something Nicole.

I live in LV and there are no street vendors that sell knock offs. On a side note I heard on CNN that we should not buy from street vendors as we may be inadvertantly funding terrorist groups. The profits may be funneled into organizations that support terrorism.

Guess what Norma--putting gas in your car has the same effect, but that's a known fact.

Sam, David, and are, (who are all the same lowlife troll of course)please do decent society a favor and leave this board. Why are you so mean to people you've never even met before? Go spread your own version of terrorism somewhere else.

Are you kidding has hit the nail on the head. I also wouldn't be a bit surprised if we found out that W was funneling money to the Taliban just to keep this war going on so his approval rating will remain high. Osama is a perfect diversion from the scrutiny of our failing economy. If you remember correctly the Persian Gulf War was staged to give Papa Bush a high approval rating. I guess Santyana was right when he said, "Those who don't remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Norma. Go watch the news some more so you will think you know something...your response was not an answer to Nicoles question, so maybe you also should leave this site.
NICOLE- We go to Las Vegas twice a year, and have never seen any vendors of the sort that we see in NYC..(the real one:)..you might have to come to Manhattan and indulge in a day or two of "knock-off" shopping--it is fun and so affordable-unlike any shoppping you will do in LV...Happy New Year..and hope you win big in Vegas!

John - take it to the political whines forum.

norma Dec 28th, 2001 10:28 AM

Nicolealso-thank you for your personal input. I don't need to leave anywhere as I was just stating something I heard-take it with a grain of salt. Thank you too for personally attacking a stranger. You're right with a bunch of nasty people like yourselves I'd rather not post here. I do a lot of travelling however and most people I encounter are nice.
