Las Vegas Italian Restaurants on Strip
Does anyone have a suggestion for an Italian Restaurant on the strip in Vegas. We are staying at New York New York. My mother (47) and I (28) are taking my baby sister out our first night in Vegas for her 21st Birthday (never been to Vegas before). She loves Italian food. It should be about $75pp or less. I'll probably pick up the wine tab. I would like it to be great food and a nice atmosphere. I've heard recommendations for Onda in the Mirage but there are no price listings on the menu on the website. What about Canaletto's in Venetian, Al Dente in Bally's? I would love any first hand accounts. Thanks!

There was a very good and reasonable priced one in the Forum Shops (at Ceasars) near the fountain that resembled Piazza Navona. I can't remember the name, it wasn't one of those celebrity chef places, but the food was very good and the atmosphere (like eating outdoors in Rome) was very pleasant.

Hi: i posted yesterday that Canaletto's and Al Dente are both very good. I think your sister would enjoy the atmosphere at Canaletto's more though.

Tremezzo at the Aladdin might be just what you're looking for and it's a short walk from NYNY.

Thanks for your suggestions. Could you describe Canalettos a bit more. What did you eat there? Atmosphere? Price?
Thanks again! |
MFNYC, it was Berteloni's. We ate there before going to see Mystere(which we loved). It had excellent food and I loved the atmosphere too. The calamari was wonderful. Had a decent wine list too. our waiter was a little off speed, but he was so nice, we did not mind. I would go back again too. Judy :-)

We went ot Cafe Andreotti at Harrahs for my Mom's Birthday. I highly recommend it. The food and service were great.
