Las Vegas Italian Restaurant

Going to be in LV from Wed to Fri and will be seeking Italian food one night. The Market Cafe at the Monte Carlo (where we are staying) seems to get good recommendations but is there any other places you would suggest. Probably in the less than $30 per person without drinks range.

Thanks in advance

We really enjoyed Onda in the Mirage. The food was excellent when we were there about a year and a half ago.

Bertolini's at Cesars Forum has fantastic Italian food, beautiful 'scenery' with the 'Trevi' fountains and is about $15-35 depending on the entree.

Stormygirl beat me to the punch!! We really like Bertolini's--have eaten there twice w/our vegetarian and would go there even w/o him!! One caveat, last time, they were very busy and my husband got seriously undercooked scallops on his pasta and had to send back the dish. They were very apologetic and when he wanted something different (as the undercooked fish had grossed him out, so to speak) the waiter was very accomodating. In spite of that incident, we love the place but would always wait (if necessary) to get fountain seating. They do not take reservations for small parties. Very reasonable prices too!!

For the price, the Italian restaurant in the Landmark (can't remember the name of the restaurant, but there's only one) is pretty good.

I like the pizza at Bertolini's, closer to your hotel though you might try Il Fornaio in NYNY. Menu is at IlFornaio.com

Same folks own "Canaletto" at the Venetian which is a step up (pricewise anyway) from Il Fornaio, and has a great atmosphere near the canals.

We really enjoy Lombardi's in the Dessert Passage at the Alladdin. You can sit out on the patio and watch the free entertainment and the people shopping. The prices are very reasonable and the food and service is great. We go here whenever in Vegad
