Las Vegas - Inexpensive Italian restaurant?

Can anyone recommend a relatively inexpensive Italian restaurant on or very near the Strip? I'm looking for good Italian but not $30 entree type of place. Any suggestions are welcome.

Ummm... Buca di Beppo? Hey, at least it's better than Olive Garden. Maybe. ((?))

Battistas (the spelling doesn't look right) but it is Battistas Hole in the Wall. it is just behind the Flamingo, terrific food and service and it is a cute restaurant with a lot of memorabilia/throw back to the Old Vegas. It has been in Vegas for years and years. I think it is around $15-25 per person.

I've heard good things about Battista's, though haven't been there yet. I like Il Fornaio at NYNY if your in the south strip area. I'd call the price moderate (you can check the menu on line I think).

I second Il Fornaio at NY NY. Great atmosphere and food.

The first place I thought of was Battista's, too!

Il Fornaio is a chain of restaurants that does a first rate job, and they treat their employees well too--with great benefits.

Here is Seattle, some locals thumb their noses at Il Fornaio in favor of other more expensive places that serve inferior food at higher prices.

Another place very much worth considering is Maggiano's in the Fashion Mall. The food here is less refined than Il Fornaio--in the direction of Buca di Beppo--but much better. It has a cluby atmosphere that will appeal especially to the men in your group. Happy hour at Maggiano's is an amazing bargain.

Maggiano's is a good Italian chain restaurant. A good option, and if you go there remember portions are large!
