palmtree, I would love to hear what you decide and get a review of the hotel when you return. October sounds like a great time to go to Vegas!

I think if I can talk my husband into it :-) I am thinking of going with the Encore for 3 nights and then Mirage for four nights. Hope it all works out :-)

If I were going to spend a week in Vegas I'd stick w/the 3 nights @ the Encore then head out to the Red Rocks area for teh remainder of my trip.... I can't imagine spending a week on the Strip...

I am shocked by anyone who wants to go to Vegas and asks about the pool, or even wants to use one. Huh?
It's like paying more for a HD 50" TV;

That's why I prefer Atlantic City; no fees for pools, it's cool in Summer, no kids. Yes, there are drunks and homeless, etc.

Check out off-strip props for pools with less college kids... and dont forget what u iz going to Vegas for.
