Las Vegas hotels

Which Las Vegas hotel would you recommend? It must be centrally located to a pedestrian overpass on the South strip. Would like to stay in the $100-$150 per night range. Will fly in on a Monday and out on a Saturday. Also, what is the best booking site? I have looked at several and the actual hotel site had better rates?!!

I don't know if this qualifies as South Strip, but we stayed at Bally's and it was a great location. It is right next to a pedestrian overpass to the Bellagio and another to Barbary Coast (north of Bally's). For your price range, I would suggest Bally's. The Paris is immediately south of Bally's and is very nice. Bally's is just a plain hotel, no real theme. Paris is beautiful inside.

You will most likely get the best rate on a hotel website unless you are booking a package deal.

I'd go for Aladdin. We stayed there twice and got a good rate both times. Check travelworm.com or call the hotel directly. We've gotten a room overlooking Bellagio fountains for around $70.00 a night for weekday. Very nice hotel!!!

Try Turbotrip.com. I was just looking at it and Expedia, and there were definite differences, with TT coming out better

I like the Aladdin too, easier to navigate then most of the big hotels. The "resort rooms" are extra nice, the bathrooms are huge. It's not really south strip, more like south-central...but it is next door to Paris and instead of those long pedestrian overpasses, you just head out the front door and there's a regular crosswalk over to Bellagio. Easy walk to Monte Carlo, MGM and NYNY.
