LAS VEGAS HOTEL USING PRICELINE FOR WEEKEND RATES RECENTLY?

Has anyone recently used priceline for a 5 star hotel on the strip for weekend reservations. I checked on betterbidding.com and biddingfortravel.com and some people had gotten the Venetian for 120.00 a night on the weekend. I was not succesful with this.
Any suggestions or recent successes?
I am only 7 days out.

Thanks

I got the Venetian for $120 on a Fri/Sat night during Mother's Day weekend. We only bid it two days out. Did Sheryl have any advice?

Who is Sheryl?

Sheryl is on the biddingfortravel.com site. She is a moderator who helps people with bids on Priceline. If you post on the biddingfortravel website, she will help with a bid.

Availability/occupancy rates vary widely from one weekend to the next in LV.
Just because someone got a rate of $120 one week has nothing to do with the likelihood that the hotel will even offer rooms on PL for the subsequent weekend.

Just this minute got $79 a night for Sept 24-26 (Wed &Thu nites) at the Venetian on Priceline. I bid after reading a bid note on betterbidding.com.
Hope this helps!

Not sure if you will find the Venetian on here, but I suggest you try Travelworm.com to find cheap hotel rates in Vegas.
