Las Vegas hotel help

I am attending a convention in Las Vegas and wondered if the Venetian is too far away from Ceasars to walk to the convention? Any other help would be appreciated? Thx.

No it is not too far to walk. Depending on how fast (or slow) you walk you can do it in 10 min. or so.

There is a bus on the Strip but most people can walk faster then the bus and it really does not pay to take the bus for that short distance. You could take a cab but it's not worth it because strip traffic is pretty hectic.

It's pretty easy. So is TI, Mirage, Harrahs, Flamingo, Bally's, Paris and Bellagio.

It's not too far to walk. The duece bus is worthwhile, imo. I took it from the stop just north of the Flamingo to the Venetian when I was concerned about being late for the Blue Man Group. This was Sunday night, but on Labor Day weekend. Took a while before the bus left, but it was a quick ride after that. Definitely saved time and effort and some perspiration vs walking fast.

While it might not pay to take the bus on a Saturday night, it could be worthwhile to use it for the convention (assuming the convention hours are ~ 9AM-5PM on weekdays).

But after the show, I was headed to Caesar's and I walked back. The bus is useful if you are in a hurry (traffic permitting) or if it is 115 degrees and you are in a suit.
