Do you pay a yearly fee for the membership rewards program...I think it's 375 per year. If you do, you call the membership rewards travel agents...they will book your entire trip, you can use points OR you will get the FHR rate which is a special rate for amex members. the website is americanexpress.com/rewards. This site will list the hotels and the points they charge....to get the FHR rate, you must call the rewards dep't and speak to a travel agent. As a member you should have received a thick magazine listing all the fine hotels and resorts in the program.

Also, I recommend signing up at the Player's club. This will be our 3rd trip to Vegas in a year. Our cost for a 5n/6d stay at the Bellagio including air is $260.00! We used Amex points for the air and the Bellagio is comping us 3 nights in a lakeview Dlx room (for a slot tournament - no entry fee). So Amex is getting us the other 2 nights for 129. Also the players club tells you to charge everything to your room, an hour before you check out you go to the players club desk and they will discount your bill tremendously. This is based on your "coin in". The players club card is to be used at all the wynn hotels...so remember to insert your card and you use the card for room charges at the hotels. you can also sign up on the Bellagio website before you go.
