Las Vegas/Grand Canyon

what tour company to use next week in vegas to go to Grand Canyon for along day trip
pros and cons

Although I have never used a tour company in any of my six visits to The Canyon, I must give this caveat: make certain the tour goes to the South Rim, NOT the West Rim. The latter's views are quite (well) grand, but they pale in comparision to what you will see within the National Park. If a tour mentions a helicopter trip or drive to the bottom, or a boat trip, or the Skywalk; then you are NOT going to the best views of the Canyon.

Yes! I think you'll be much happier pacing yourself at the GC, and not being herded onto a bus every 15 minutes.

Week before last, we went on the Grand Canyon Deluxe tour with Scenic Airlines and were extremely pleased in every way. The tour was exactly as described. Everything was well organized. Not only does flying there (to the South Rim) and back save many hours on the road, the bird's eye views in both directions are spectacular.

We usually prefer independent travel to tours, but sometimes a tour is just more efficient.
