Las Vegas, cab needed? Or within walking distance

My husband and I will be staying at the Bellagio and will be going to Caesars Palace to see the Elton John concert. Is it feasible to walk? Not that we are lazy but we will be dressed up, walking with high heels might pose a small problem if it is too far. Next question, after the concert we have reservations at Onda(thanks Charlotte), which is located in the Mirage. Will we have to take a cab there? It does seem strange but if you want to eat at some of these restaurants you have to make your reservations months in advance. We are going in October and could not get a reservation at e-merils steak house in the Venetian.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Mary

Bellagio is next door to Ceasars. Granted, they are still spread out, but definitely you can walk.

Mirage...I'm drawing a blank. You probably do need a cab. Ceasars and bellagio are center strip. Mirage is either N or South.

I walked from the fountains to the volcano, it's very close. The only thing I don't remember if the pavement was adequate for high heels. I was wearing walking shoes. I do remember brick-paved kind of sidewalk somewhere on the strip, not sure where, probably at Harrah's.

Just be careful on the escalators with high heels as you go on the pedestrian crosswalk over flamingo rd.

Personally, I'd say to take a cab. The walk is not too bad, but it involves going over the skybridges on Flamingo. Also, Bellagio sits SO far back that it is a LONG walk just to get off the property! If you're dressed up, you could end up sweaty after the walk.

To get to Mirage, stroll through the Forum Shoppes, and you will eventually come out just a few feet from Mirage! You can also cab it if you like.

Going straight down the street, not counting the distance from the sidewalk to the door, Bellagio to Caesars Palace is approx. 1/2 mile, and Caesars to Mirage is approx. 1/2 mile. Walk 1/2 mile in your high heels this weekend, and see what you think. :) (If it were me, I'd wear sneakers and carry the high heels in my purse.)
