Las Vegas- best pool for kids?

Going to Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend to visit family. What hotel has the best/most fun pool for children? Water slides, sandy beach entrance, etc. Looking mostly on/near the Strip, but willing to consider off the Strip if the price is right and the pool is awesome!

So far I've seen recommendations for:
Flamingo
MGM Grand
Monte Carlo
Mandalay Bay
Luxor
Golden Nugget
Excaliber

I'd love to hear your experience at any of them, or any others!

Kids are 10, 8 and 2 years old. Thanks so much!

I think the Mirage has the best betting pool.

Of the ones on your list, there is nothing special about the pools at the Flamingo, Monte Carlo, Luxor, Golden Nugget or Excalibur.

Mandalay Bay has a great pool area as does MGM. The latter has a lazy river.

I'm not aware that any of the pools on the Strip are designed with kids in mind. I don't believe I've seen a water slide at any of the hotels I've stayed at or visited.

I would also suggest before booking a hotel that you call the hotel to ask about the environment and parties around the pool area on the weekends. It's become a big money maker in Vegas to have pool parties. The fact that it's Vegas should tell you about what to expect - ESPECIALLY on a holiday weekend.

You might want to check on-line reviews and comments before finding your kids in the middle of a throng of thongs and topless women.

I stand corrected on the Flamingo. I never stayed there but had assumed it had a cookie cutter square pool. From this article, sounds like that may be what you're looking for.

What is special about the pool at the Golden Nugget is that it is a combination pool and enormous aquarium with schools of ocean fish and sharks in it. There water slide goes through the aquarium and drops you back in the pool.It must be on thier website.

I would conatct the hotels and ask which have a kiddie pool - they're not going to want a 2 year old in a regular pool. Also do check about parties (for which you often need to rent a cabana) and which have european (topless) pools (unless you think that appropriate for your kids). (I think it's fine - but know that some americans don't like topless pools/beaches.)
